- When is the Geelong Fragrance Fair 2026?
- The fair runs from 11 to 13 September 2026 at Deakin University Waterfront Campus. Friday is an industry VIP day, exclusively for makers, sponsors and participants in the fair, beginning with a Launch Night industry event. If you’d like to know more or are considering sponsorship, please get in touch. The marketplace and public programming then open to everyone on Saturday and Sunday.
- Where is it held?
- The fair takes place at Deakin University Waterfront Campus in Geelong, Victoria, right on the bay. It is a short walk from Geelong Station and an easy hour from Melbourne.
- When do tickets go on sale and how do I book?
- Tickets go on sale 1 July 2026 through Humanitix, our ticketing partner. You can book general admission to the marketplace, add individual talks, or choose a Saturday or Sunday VIP pass that bundles entry with sessions. A small booking fee applies to each ticket.
- How much are tickets?
- General admission to the makers marketplace is $9 a day on Saturday and Sunday, or $5 concession. Individual talks are $19 each. To make a day of it, the Saturday VIP Pass is $83 and includes admission plus four talks and panels, while the Sunday VIP Pass is $92 and includes admission plus the Connecting to Country aromatherapy workshop. That workshop is also available on its own for $85, and the Polyester film screening is $25. A booking fee applies to each ticket. See all tickets and prices →
- What is on across the weekend?
- A marketplace of 29 independent perfumers and artisan makers from across Australia and New Zealand sits alongside talks and panels, hands-on workshops, a scent art exhibition and a city scent trail. Every maker is given equal space and the same warm welcome.
- Who presents the fair?
- The Geelong Fragrance Fair is presented by the Olfactive Society, a not-for-profit and Australia’s community for independent perfumers and artisan makers. The Society exists to champion this region’s scent creators and deepen how all of us enjoy the art of perfumery.
- How do I get there and where can I park?
- Take the train to Geelong Station on the Geelong line, or drive via the Princes Freeway, about an hour from Melbourne. There is waterfront parking close to the campus, and the venue is a short, flat walk from the station.
- Who is the fair for?
- Everyone, from seasoned fragrance lovers to the simply scent-curious. Concession tickets are available, and the makers are there in person to share the story behind every bottle, so come with questions and a nose ready to explore.
