These terms apply to your use of this website and to your attendance at the Geelong Fragrance Fair, presented by the Olfactive Society Inc. By using this site, buying a ticket or attending the Fair, you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our privacy policy, ticket and refund policy and code of conduct.
About us
The Geelong Fragrance Fair is organised by the Olfactive Society Inc., a not-for-profit association. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the Olfactive Society Inc.
Using this website
You may use this website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. The content, branding, text, images and design on this site belong to the Olfactive Society Inc. or its partners and are protected by copyright. Please do not copy, scrape, republish or use them for commercial purposes without our permission. We make every effort to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but details such as the programme, makers, times and events may change.
Tickets and entry
- Tickets are sold through our ticketing partner, Humanitix, and are also subject to the Humanitix attendee terms.
- A ticket is a personal licence to attend the Fair on the date and session it is issued for. It does not transfer any other rights.
- Entry is subject to our code of conduct and any reasonable directions from staff and the venue. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone behaving unsafely, unlawfully or in a way that affects others’ enjoyment of the Fair.
- The programme, participating makers, special events, speakers and timings are indicative and may change without notice.
Refunds
Refunds and ticket transfers are covered by our ticket and refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Photography and filming
The Fair may be photographed and filmed for promotional and reporting purposes. By attending, you agree that we may capture and use images or footage that include you. If you would prefer not to be featured, please speak to our team at the event or get in touch through our contact page.
Conduct at the Fair
We want the Fair to be a welcoming and respectful space for makers, visitors and staff. All attendees are expected to follow the Olfactive Society code of conduct.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from your use of this website or your attendance at the Fair, except where it is caused by our negligence or cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always appear on this page with its “last updated” date.
